🎭 Last Friday, we welcomed Chuck Ethridge of Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre!

Chuck highlighted how the arts fuel economic growth, talent retention and quality of life. Nationally, the arts generate $1.2T (4.2% of GDP)—and locally, CST’s $1.2M budget drives $13.2M in impact, with 40% of patrons visiting from outside the county.

Founded in 1967, CST blends national and local talent and continues to earn national recognition. Beyond the stage, they give back—donating $40K+ in tickets annually and serving 1,000+ youth through education programs.

With ticket sales covering just 37% of costs, community support is critical—but CST continues to thrive, growing donations significantly in recent years.

👏 Thank you, Chuck, for a powerful reminder that strong arts = strong communities.
